HEAD OF CHANNEL SALES
Reporting to the Sales Director, and working closely with the UK management team, the successful candidate will be challenged to help grow profitable sales through a dedicated team of sales professionals. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to the next step in their career path and who wants to be associated with a company that is recognised as a clear market leader
Driving the annual turnover and profit targets through the sales team
Setting individual goals and objectives together with measurement of achievement
Leading strategic initiatives through key customers
Exploring and developing new market sectors
Setting up and running relevant training sessions
Conducting annual appraisals
Profile & Experience
A demonstrable passion for sales, confident speaker and communicator, naturally persuasive and likeable.
Ability to support the delivery of a "sales culture" within the team and business.
Technical and industry knowledge sufficient to provide a convincing presentation with decision makers in client organisations.
A proven track record in business to business sales involving multi channels and both the devising and delivery of complex solutions and products.
Extensive networking capabilities within relevant sectors.
Experience of identifying, opening and developing key accounts in a structured sales process.
Demonstrable success and identify qualities in leading, training, developing, mentoring and managing a diverse sales team.
Confident presenter with the ability to provide convincing business propositions by financial and strategic argument.
Exposure to modern marketing methodologies.
