SYSTEM FURNITURE DEALERSHIP
MAJOR CONTRACT FURNITURE SPECIALIST

This is one of the largest System Furniture dealership in the UK, they are expanding their teams and have a new role.They are looking for an experienced individual to take responsibility to secure best terms with major ancillary furniture manufacturers and price, and specify and create packages for major bids that are competitive and compellingWork within the sales group to drive knowledge and profitability, with a focus on ancillary and collaboration furniture products.

Maintain constant contact, in person with key manufacturers and suppliers, through showroom visits (factory visits where practical and strategically important especially where client/A&D can be involved).Ensure all key manufacturer, new product releases are received early, and ensure that their company receive exclusive terms.

Work with manufacturers to ensure a constant flow of sample products are received and reviewed at their Offices through the UK, where practical.

Maintain excellent visual, technical, and commercial product data, on behalf of sales, bid and design teams.Work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to ensure visibility of new products trends are shared and exchanged.

Develop and maintain an electronic commercial database of key products and bids, to ensure accurate specification and optimise profitability opportunities.

Attend client meetings, to promote the company's expert capability to specify and supply relevant products.
Experience within specification driven sectors, in commercial furniture is preferable
Previous experience within the design/A&D (hence an existing personal network in London) will be highly valued
Ability to build long-term working relationships with manufacturers and OEMs, sales people, business leaders, architects, and interiors designers,
Ability to work in project teams, in a distributed and complex sales environment
Familiar with corporate interior design processes and practices (design thinking, workplace consultancy, project management, workplace management)
Strong level of personal organisation, project and time management
Autonomy, commitment, curiosity, disciplined and adaptable, with team playing qualities will be highly valued.
